The Passion of the Christ | |||||||||||
The Christian fundamentalist Mel Gibson and the originally
Grison-Swiss Jim Caviezel have shown the true face
of the bible: A horror story.
Never before have I seen a more bloodthirsty splatterfest.
The violence may be conforming to the brutality of
the people who lived around Year One, but the torturing
of that poor human being seems to be made excessive
anticipating the audience's pure lust for blood.
Animals seem to have no value at all in the bible of
Mr. Gibson. The film opens with Christ stamping out
a harmless snake. One of the crucified victims gets
eaten alive by a --- crow !!
None of my burning questions were answered in the two
hours plus of the alledged documentary:
Why does an antropomorphous god need to send his "son"
in the form of a white male to our particular planet
so that the sins of mankind can be forgiven by his
son's torture?
