Among the new conceptions entering our daily vocabulary in the wake of the financial crisis is
¨TOO BIG TO FAIL¨.
This notion appears to me as total nonsense.
Absolutely nothing is too big to fail. Even our planet will - one day in the distant future - ¨fail¨.
What the anonymous authors of the catch phrase mean is:
TOO BIG TO LET FAIL.
This is what should be used instead.
