This Month's Taboo ViolationWhy havn't "they" thought of that? | ||||||||||||
Countries everywhere slowly seem to realise they can't get
away in this modern world without Human Rights.
Very good! But their awareness that human rights often collide
with the environment is still way behind.
My suggestion:
A bill of Earth Rights should be established to protect
the Earth, Gaia, our planet from us.
Later, when the two sets of ethic rules start to disagree in
certain areas, priorities will have to be set.
Most certainly, when the an issue of earth rights is accepted to
override the colliding issue of human rights, it will still
benefit humans in the long run.
I'm looking forward to the dawning of mankind that earth
rights are more important than certain human rights.
If I live to see it, that is!
